Canadians Contributing to People-to-People Links with Vietnam
"One of the activities I initiated this year to further ties between Canada and Vietnam was a study tour for Schulich School of Business MBA students to Vietnam and Thailand. We intend to continue this on an annual basis. The purpose of the study tour course is 1) to familiarize students with the business practices and government policy to see how they have contributed to economic development there, and 2) to explore opportunities for Canadians who wish to do business there. We visited both Vietnamese and Canadian businesses and organizations In Hanoi and HCMC, ranging from a textile factory to an organic farm and shop, a social enterprise, a hi tech park, a logistics company, etc., and culminated with a visit to Manulife’s offices in HCMC. The students also presented to a panel of professors and businesspeople at Hoa Sen University. We hope once the students have an introduction to the opportunities that they will be open to exploring them further after they graduate."

Peintre et artiste multidisciplinaire. Expose ses œuvres au Québec et en Ontario à partir de 1978. Collabore à la création et à la production de quinze spectacles notamment. En 2000, il signe également la mise en scène de la pièce Le Cœur de Mattingly de Rober Racine au Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal.Les œuvres de Guy Lapierre se retrouvent dans des collections privées au Québec, en France et aux États-Unis.
