ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION: BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION 2016

Với mục tiêu cung cấp một sân chơi chuyên nghiệp cho sinh viên Việt Nam hiện đang theo học các trường cao đẳng và đại học và các sinh viên vừa tốt nghiệp trong khu vực Greater Toronto Area (GTA), cuộc thi kế hoạch kinh doanh năm 2016, phối hợp tổ chức bởi Hiệp hội Canada Việt Nam Society - Toronto và Hội đồng Thương mại Canada - Việt Nam, cung cấp cho sinh viên một cơ hội tuyệt vời để trình bày các dự án kinh doanh sáng tạo trước những nhà đầu tư tiềm năng, cũng như để nhận được sự hướng dẫn từ những nhà kinh doanh chuyên nghiệp và nhiều kinh nghiệm.

To provide a professional playground for Vietnamese students attending colleges and universities and recent graduates within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Business Plan Competition 2016, co-organized by Canada Vietnam Society - Toronto and Canada Vietnam Trade Council offers students an unparalleled opportunity to present innovative new ventures to potential investors as well as to receive guidance and coaching from experienced professional business people.

Nominee(s): The competition is open to all Vietnamese students currently attending colleges and universities, or recent graduates, within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Candidates can choose to work individually or as a team (maximum 3 members) to create and submit a business plan.

Competition Important Dates:

- Registration: deadline June 20th, 2016 – Business Plan Proposal

- June 25th, 2016 – Your ideas getting challenged and presentation

The winning team is expected to bring their business plan to real life. They will receive extensive coaching and support from the organizer along this exciting journey.

How to register:

Send your complete registration form to toronto@canadavietnamsociety.ca by June 20th, 2016 midnight.

What’s next?

A representative of each team will have the opportunity to attend the “Starting Your Business 101” workshop.

  • Date: June 21st, 2016

  • Place: Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., 2nd Floor, Committee Room 4

A representative of each team will be sent to the “Ask-The-Expert - Legal Advice for Small Businesses” workshop.

  • Date: July 8th, 2016

  • Place: North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge St., Main Floor, Enterprise Toronto Resource Centre

Judging Panel:

Your business ideas and plans will be evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of representatives from the academic and business communities, and nonprofit organizations.

Why should I register?

Team members will receive:

- Free membership to the Canada Vietnam Society

- Free workshops and coaching from successful business professionals

- Networking opportunities for future employment and career development

The winning team will receive:

- Benefit in cash: up to $500 as a reimbursement for start-up expenses

- Benefit in kind: advice and referrals for start-up financing, coaching to bring business idea to real life, media coverage to promote personal brand
